Honda (Acura) NSX

The NSX supercar exemplifies the precision crafted performance that lies at the heart of every Acura vehicle. Developed out of years of racing experience, the NSX sets the benchmark for Acura, combining world-class performance and styling with exceptional drivability and refinement. "The NSX is the benchmark to which we compare all our other models in terms of performance and quality," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president, auto sales. "Our lineup is stronger than it has ever been and the NSX is a crucial component of that lineup. To many of our customers, it's an icon of our brand."

Honda S2000

The Honda S2000 is a roadster manufactured by Honda Motor Company since April 1999. The car was created to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary, and continues in the tradition of lightweight roadster "S" cars such as the S600 and S800. Like previous S cars, the name of the S2000 comes from its engine displacement of approximately 2000 cc (although Honda would later introduce a 2200 cc model, retaining the S2000 name). From its inception in 1999 to 2003, S2000s were manufactured at Honda's Tochigi plant. S2000s since then have been manufactured at the Suzuka plant.

Mazda RX-8

The new Mazda RX-8 is truly a sports car like no other, with a revolutionary concept β€” a twin rotary engine sports car, an exterior design that is pure emotion, along with four doors and room for up to four adults. No other model bearing the five- point grille exemplifies Zoom-Zoom as clearly as this. The new Mazda RX-8 is indicative of the future of sports car technology at Mazda β€” sporty and functional, but never boring.

Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

The Mitsubishi Eclipse offers the sport coupe customer an "attainable exotic" with striking design, sports car handling and dazzling performance. For 2009, Mitsubishi restyled the front and rear bumper fascias and gave the Eclipse GT model a large rear spoiler. The GT also gets three significant upgrades for 2009: a new dual exhaust system yields a more powerful sound while also boosting horsepower to 265 (up from 263); standard high intensity discharge (HID) head lamps sharpen front styling and aid nighttime visibility, and standard Active Stability Control (ASC) enhances driving safety and performance.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution-X

The development goal for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was to make the car as fast as possible, while also making it as safe to drive as possible. To that end Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is loaded with the very latest in automotive engineering technology, including the S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) vehicle dynamics control system and the newly developed, power-efficient Twin Clutch SST (Sport Shift Transmission). Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is a new-generation high-performance 4WD sedan that allows a new category of driver access to Mitsubishi's dynamic driving experience by underpinning speed with control, security and safety.

Nissan 350Z

β€œTo be successful in the marketplace, we know that the 350Z must deliver in performance and design while keeping the price tag under $30,000. The new 350Z does just that,” said Carlos Ghosn, president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML).

Nissan Skyline GT-R

The new Nissan GT-R may well be the most accomplished and technologically advanced high performance car ever made. One of the world's fastest vehicles, it is also probably the world's easiest and most secure high-speed car to drive fast. The multi-performance supercar Nissan GT-R raced through the N?rburgring circuit - where the condition of the fearsome high-speed corner, "Kesselchen" was wet - with a time of 7m38s. The new Nissan GT-R is also striking value, offering much better performance - in acceleration, cornering power and braking - than all equivalently priced sports coupes.

Subaru ImprezaWRX-STI

Subaru is revving up performance and handling in its iconic All-Wheel Drive Subaru Impreza WRX sport compact for 2009, following the debut of the all-new model in 2008. Performance leaps to a higher level in the 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX thanks to a 265 horsepower turbocharged intercooled Boxer engine, retuned suspension and wider, lower-profile summer performance tires. WRX enthusiasts will quickly identify the 2009 models by the ST-type grille and standard Aero Package. The 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Toyotta Celica GT

Through all generations, Celicas have been built around Toyota's high-performance inline-4 engines, although some Celicas are powered by more economical, lower performance 4-cylinder engines. The most significant change between generations occurred in 1986, when the drivetrain was changed from rear wheel drive to front wheel drive. During the first three generations, American market Celicas were powered by various versions of Toyota's R series engines. Four wheel drive turbocharged model (designated All-trac in the US or GT-Four in Japan and Europe), produced from 1986 to 1999. Variable Valve Timing came in late 1997 Japanese models, and become standard in all models from 2000 model years. Through seven generations, the model has gone through many revisions and design forks, including the Toyota Celica Supra (later known as the Toyota Supra). Body styles for Celica are Notchback Coupe, Liftback, and Convertible.

Toyota Supra

Supra is powered by a high-performance, twin-cam, in-line six-cylinder, 24-valve, electronically fuel-injected engine. In normally aspirated trim, it produces 220 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and a maximum of 210 lb./ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm. In addition to a specially tuned intake system, it incorporates split-exhaust manifolds for reduced engine back pressure, enhanced power output and greater fuel economy. The normally-aspirated Supra is available with either a five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission.
